2023 SMK9 Raffle
Hello Everyone – Johnny Drama here! You may remember me from my puppy days, as many of you raised money for ABMR to help with my care when I was diagnosed with CMO. Well, it’s five years later, and I am doing great, SO HANDSOME and a working man! Yep, that’s right, I am a professional HABIT dog and Mom said this year, the raffle is about me and my friends. On Friday afternoons, I go to Charter Senior Living in Jefferson City and visit my friends in the memory care center. Many of them struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease – did you know that more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's? That makes me and Mom sad so guess what – We are going to do a raffle this year to raise money for a cure (The Longest Day 2023 - Donate | Alzheimer's Association) 1st prize will be:

Tickets will be $10/each or 3 for $25. You can paypal the donation to [email protected] and Mom will get you the tickets. The raffle starts now and the winners will be chosen on Saturday, June 10 after the competition ends at the IDS June Summer Splash. If you just want to make a donation, you can go to The Longest Day 2023 - Donate | Alzheimer's Association and type in my friend’s name at Charter Living, Camry Bentley and you can make a donation that way as well. Please consider helping my friends….they are so kind and love seeing me – it doesn’t matter that they don’t remember my name, they always smile when I come through the door. Thank you to all that donated to support the cause for the Florida Poodle Rescue in Memory of Toot!
We raised over $2,000.00 to this very special organization that is near and dear to our hearts.
We will be auctioning off an annual pool membership (with t-shirt and bumper) for 2022. This year the auction will be in Memory of the TOOT and all proceeds will go to Florida Poodle Rescue, the organization that fostered her a million years ago (https://www.floridapoodlerescue.org/).
Toot was the boss here at SMK9 and while she did not believe in getting wet, she went to every event. Florida to Michigan, west to Vail and down to Louisiana, Toot was at every event and every handler’s meeting.
The winner of the auction will have a 2022 pool membership with unlimited access to the pool (must schedule). If you have already purchased a membership, you will be refunded. If you do not have a dog or do not live in the area, you can regift the membership or receive 50% of the proceeds of the auction.
Tickets are $10/each or 3 for $25. Please paypal to SMK9 with your name and number of tickets or reach out to Katie or Kim.

I will personally match the proceeds we raise to support this organization and the wonderful work that they do.

In the fall of 2018, SMK9Sports held a raffle to raise money to purchase RexSpecs Goggles for the local K9officers. "Rex Specs K9 design is optimized for the working dog. They are used by personal protection dog trainers, United States Defense departments, hunters and in many other working K9 applications. Rex Specs have received the mark approval from several K9 professionals for their effectiveness in many different situations."
With the support of everyone in our community, we were able to raise enough money to purchase 10 pairs of RexSpec Goggles for our local K9 Officers.
